uh oh...a quiet house

Another posting that starts out with a quiet house...
What can I say? Ty is very resourceful when it comes to entertaining himself.

Lookin' Good

I am always cracking up at some of the outfits Jeremy comes up with to play in the backyard. I was going to post one of him because he can come up with some really hot looks...socks with flip flops, plaid pajama pants with tennis shoes...you get the idea. Anyway, when he threatened to post one of me, I had no choice but to back off. =) The boys always look cute though...even in crazy clothes.

Easter

OK, so I am a bit delayed in my posting, but better late than never. Easter was a lot of fun this year. The boys know precisely what to do and the whole egg hunt was over in less than 5 minutes. To their surprise when they asked to have some candy for breakfast...Mom said Yes! Once they got the green light, they systematically opened each egg and had the most nutritious meal of their life. So much for Easter brunch...

Oh, I almost forgot the sweet little quote of the day courtesy of Aaron. He said (in a southern drawl and with a sweet smile), "This easter day just makes me wanna' smile." How could we not have a great day after that? Sooo cute!

Down by the Bay

I am not normally allowed to watch, sing or dance when Ty is performing. I wonder what he would say if he knew I was listening? I would probably have to plug my ears or something. He is such a shy guy these days!
This was a rare moment...Enjoy! =)

The Kinder-Krazies

So my first born is in Kindergarten and I think I have a good idea of what goes on there each day, but what is causing this? Hmmm...
Notice it is always the left knee. Let me tell you, I can not wait until shorts season!

While we are on the subject of Kindergarten, everyone warned me about all of the germs and colds kids bring home, but man I had no idea what they were talking about until about October. It seems as though someone in the house has been sick with something every other week. Aaron just went to the doctor yesterday because of a cough that has been lingering for a few weeks and getting worse. Come to find out he has pneumonia...again! I am doubly looking forward to spring...bring on the sunshine!

Silly Ty

For those who don't know, my sweet little Ty has a temper. I have said this about him quite a few times. So apparently he has been listening...Ty told me today with a very serious look on his face that his Dinosaurs don't have "mean temperatures" they have "nice temperatures" just like him. He cracks me up sometimes...

Disneyland!

We finally had our first Disneyland trip last week and it was wonderful. Jeremy and I had to go down to LA on business and we decided to work in a Disneyland trip along with it. We enlisted the Grammy and the Auntie's to help out with the chaos. At one point we were looking at a woman rounding up 6 kids on her own and we looked at each other and said, "WOW, it takes 5 of us to watch these two and we're exhausted...that woman is a saint!" So here is a sample of our three chaotic, but fun days...Enjoy!

Day one, right when we got to the park...Don't we look perky?

So we thought it would be a really fun splurge to take the kids to Rainforest Cafe...we thought wrong! Here's a pic of Jeremy and Ty. As soon as we sat down he literally passed out in his lap. He slept the whole meal and ate his food to go.

Aaron did not like the loud thunder and kept his mad face on the entire time. He told the waiter to turn off the thunder storms because it was too spooky. If you're wondering what he is so focused on scroll down...

This Gorilla was basically Aaron's nemesis...you better believe he kept his eye on him!

Another unfortunate disaster was the Bugs Life 3D movie. We walked out after about 2 minutes because the kids were trembling with fear. They sure did look cute in the glassed though!

Aaron with his life long love Jessie...

Ty did not care about any characters, his main concern was the food...

Thanks Girls for all your help! We sure had fun!

I love this picture! There was no way he was going on "The haunted ho-tale", (Aaron's pronunciation) but he sure did enjoy hearing all of the people screaming inside.

I don't think the boys have ever passed out quite as quickly as they did here...all tuckered out.
All in all it was a great trip...can't wait to go back again!
