Turkey Day

We had a nice mellow Miller family Turkey day this year.  The food was superb (as usual) and we all enjoyed ourselves.  Here's some of the highlights...
Dad and Donna ready to carve the beautiful turkey

Aaron, Maddie and Tyler ready for some grub, but really wanting to get it over with so they can go play some more.

Amy and James

Dad Ty and Jewels.  For some reason the pic I took of my brother turned out blurry and was deleted.  Sorry Khris!  Your picture will be in my memory though.  =)

We had a fantastic day and we all left feeling grateful for our full bellies and wonderful family.

Grateful

Another year has past and yet again, I have so much to be grateful for.  This year has been especially trying for us.  If there is one thing I have learned though, is that there is so much to be learned from struggles.

I already knew that I had an amazing family.  The kind of family that would do anything for you, the kind of family that is always ready to help {even when there is nothing in it for them}, the kind of family that will give you more than they ever hope to receive, the kind of family that loves unconditionally.

I have a truly awesome family.

So I already knew how awesome my family was,  but this year above all others, it has been proven beyond a doubt.  Being a surrogate, carrying triplets, was the hardest thing I have ever physically done.  Ever.  Emotionally is was one of the most rewarding.  The experience has helped me to prioritize things in my life.

I can not {and will not} tell you how much I had to lean on my wonderful family.  What I will tell you though is that words can not describe the deep feeling of gratitude I have for them.  So to my family {and this goes for all of you} I have to say "thank-you".  Thank you for making it possible for me to fulfill my one of my dreams.  I know thank you doesn't cut it, but I have to say it anyway.  I love you all!

I also have to say how grateful I am for my absolutely adorable and wonderful children.  They truly give meaning to my life.  They can melt my heart with a smile and crack me up with their words.   I would do anything for those little guys and they know it!  I can't say I love them enough times in the day.

I am also grateful for my absolutely fabulous husband.  He got the brunt of it this year for sure.  He didn't complain though.  He was {and is} there for me no matter what.   I don't think there are enough points in the world to keep score for all the points he earned this year.  He takes such good care of our little family.  This man is truly amazing and I love him with all of my heart.

On that note, I also have to say I am so thankful for the new additions to my family.  Five to be exact.  My "Surro-Family". I am so proud of them and so happy that I was a part in making it all come together.   We have been through thick and thin together for sure and I am so grateful to have them in my life.

Take a moment to tally up what you're thankful for.  My heart is so full right now.  I feel like the luckiest girl ever.

Happy thanksgiving everyone!

May May's Married!

My cousin Megan recently got married which is so hard to believe. I still remember her wearing bows in hear hair bigger than her head, singing Achey Breaky Heart for goodness sake!

I got some pretty good shots that day so I thought I would share...

Tee time

We really try our best to have one on one time with our boys on a regular basis.  Don't get me wrong, it's great to go out all together too, but they are like different kids when they are out on their own with Mom or Dad.   It helps us to appreciate their individual personalities too.  So, one early morning, Jeremy brought Aaron out golfing for a little one on one time.

Of course Aaron was less than thrilled about waking up early, but he had a great time once he was on the golf course.

Helping out with the put.

He made it!

Only Aaron would find a balloon on a golf course...

When I asked him what his favorite part of the day was, he said, "Everything and the big rock."
What a great day for them.

Sure Honey...

You can snuggle with your ghouls.
Aaron's home sick today and hey, if that makes him feel better, I'm all for it.
He cracks me up.
