Disneyland!

We finally had our first Disneyland trip last week and it was wonderful. Jeremy and I had to go down to LA on business and we decided to work in a Disneyland trip along with it. We enlisted the Grammy and the Auntie's to help out with the chaos. At one point we were looking at a woman rounding up 6 kids on her own and we looked at each other and said, "WOW, it takes 5 of us to watch these two and we're exhausted...that woman is a saint!" So here is a sample of our three chaotic, but fun days...Enjoy!

Day one, right when we got to the park...Don't we look perky?

So we thought it would be a really fun splurge to take the kids to Rainforest Cafe...we thought wrong! Here's a pic of Jeremy and Ty. As soon as we sat down he literally passed out in his lap. He slept the whole meal and ate his food to go.

Aaron did not like the loud thunder and kept his mad face on the entire time. He told the waiter to turn off the thunder storms because it was too spooky. If you're wondering what he is so focused on scroll down...

This Gorilla was basically Aaron's nemesis...you better believe he kept his eye on him!

Another unfortunate disaster was the Bugs Life 3D movie. We walked out after about 2 minutes because the kids were trembling with fear. They sure did look cute in the glassed though!

Aaron with his life long love Jessie...

Ty did not care about any characters, his main concern was the food...

Thanks Girls for all your help! We sure had fun!

I love this picture! There was no way he was going on "The haunted ho-tale", (Aaron's pronunciation) but he sure did enjoy hearing all of the people screaming inside.

I don't think the boys have ever passed out quite as quickly as they did here...all tuckered out.
All in all it was a great trip...can't wait to go back again!

Smile for the day...

For those of you who don't know, Aaron is the most completely honest and literal person I know. Today I was getting him ready for school and I said "Hurry up honey, I'm need to run you up to the school." He got a little upset and replied, "I don't want to run, I just want to drive!" I love this kid...he makes me smile everyday. =)

Happy New Year!

I don't really know the reason behind everyone watching a giant ball drop on new years, but we stayed up to watch it anyway. It's kinda' weird when you think about it huh? Hope 2010 is filled with much love and joy to all of our family and friends...

"Holy Moly It's Snow!"

The boys had their first glimpse of snow today and to say they were excited is an understatement. Ty kept saying "Holy Moly it's snow!" As soon as Aaron saw the slight dusting on the side of the road, he wanted to pull over and make a snow man.

Ty catching snow flakes on his tongue.

Aaron eating his snowball. We had to teach him not eat the yellow snow...then of course, he had to make a little of his own. =)

We did some sledding (on an air mattress), built a really sad attempt at a snow man (they are a lot harder to make than they look!), made snow angels and all the usual fun stuff.

I think we made it about 2 hours before the boys were freezing and "done with the snow". It was sure fun while it lasted though!

Merry Christmas!

Our Holiday season was a great one this year. The kids are at such a fun age and they really appreciate all of the small things that make holidays special...gingerbread houses, Xmas cookies, decorations, lights and especially all of the "blow ups" on the front lawns. This year, we really tried to concentrate on spending time with our family and getting back to basics. It turned out really nice.

Another Christmas come and gone...my, how time flies! Have a great New Year!

"Look at me Mom, I'm like Papa!"

Ty is officially all "inked" up. He wanted to be like Papa Carl (Jeremy's Dad) so bad, he did his own tattoo. He said he drew a sun and wrote his name. He was so proud of himself too! That's what I get for not listening to the silence in the house... =)
