What better way to wake up than this cute face? He walked into my room with lion slippers on his feet, puppets on his hands and his blanket and just said, "Good morning Mom." I love it!

Archaeologists in training
For those who don't know, my boys are are obsessed with playmobil. With in this obsession, they have had many different interests. Playmobil literally makes toys for every theme you can imagine. For the past few months it has been Egyptians for Aaron which then in turn has led to him wanting to become an archaeologist. So now you know the history, here they are practicing their skills. The received these little archaeologist kits with treasures buried in plaster and a few tools to dig them out. This was an awesome gift by the way, because it kept them busy foo like 2 hours! They loved it!
Working together...two heads are better than one right? This one was Aaron's with Egyptian artifacts.
Ty's was a Dinosaur egg.
The tools were taking FOREVER, so they decided water would help things along.
He was so excited to finally get to that dinosaur. He really had fun with this.
Aaron swore these must be "priceless works of art".
What a fun activity this was for the boys. Aaron now wants to collect them all so he train to become a famous archaeologist and go to Egypt as soon as possible. Not to worry though, He said he will send me postcards and pictures everyday. =)

Our 12th Anniversary
I can't believe how fast this year has gone! Jeremy and I have now been married for 12 years and together for 18. Yowza!!! I'm feeling a little old as I type that out. Anyway, I didn't do the whole montage of pictures through thee years because I did that last year. I'm just gonna' keep this one simple.
I just have to say that I am a lucky girl to have such a great guy. I know it's a total cliche, since Jerry McGuire, but he really does complete me. I guess you could also say we compliment each other. I get all of these crazy ideas from my Pottery Barn catalogs and he brings them to life. I start over thinking things {like I like to do} and he gets all rational on me. I make dinner and he will do the dishes. The list goes on and on. Bottom line is that I love this man and he loves me and we love our kids. What a great feeling that is.
Happy anniversary baby! You are the peanut butter to my jelly for sure and life just wouldn't be the same with one and not the other.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!!!
I have to take a moment to give a birthday shout out to my main squeeze. He is such a HUGE support to me and our boys, I don't know what we would do with out him. He is loyal, loving, laid back and has a great sense of humor. He is my other half, and on some days, my better half. Here's a trip down memory lane in honor of Jeremy on his 33rd birthday.

4th of July
We had a busy, HOT, and fantastic fourth. We are lucky enough to live on a court with a BUNCH of kiddos, so we rounded 'em all up for some good ol' fashioned, American fun. Aaron was game for everything, Ty ended up at the end of the court with the slip and slide for quite a while, but it was all fun. We did so much I'm sharing collage style.
Collage numero uno...
In order of appearance:
Water balloon toss, Water balloon fight, and a parade with all of the kids and their decorated bikes.
Collage numero dos...
A watermelon contest (Aaron decided he didn't quite like the watermelon), a very tired Aaron, Daddies playing wiffle ball, a water relay race (looks like Jeremy's really enjoying himself), and some of the kiddos watching the fireworks.
Aaron declared it "the best day ever!"

A Dancer is Born
We recently discovered Wii Just Dance and ever since, Aaron has been dancing his little hiney off.
He has always loved music and dancing but I think we have reached a new level. I captured this little video the other day, but this is now a regular occurrence around here. He even dances with his hands and arms while he's eating dinner! Aaron is officially a dancin' machine!
Gotta love that booty shakin'!

Little Pharaohs
It's summertime and it's hot! We've been inside with the AC cranked up lately. So, the boys have started to get creative with our afternoons. The latest was making themselves into little Pharaohs. Aaron is VERY interested in ancient Egypt right now and luckily, Ty kinda' likes it too!
Aaron designed both hats himself, all I did was staple them. So creative!
Here they are going on a "tour" of Egypt.
I'm sure there will be a few more installments about their creative entertainment ideas to come...
